Any reason to get any pre-order other than standard?

If I'm going to play mostly myplayer with a little bit of league/mygm (I've been disappointed with myteam for a few years now), is there really any reason to get any of the more expensive pre-orders?

5K VC for standard
35K VC for deluxe

Seems to me I could probably buy VC for less than the cost of the higher end pre-order packages ($20 for 30K VC?) unless they've decided to dramatically increase VC pricing, skill boosts are all used up in a few days (Assuming they are like last year), and I don't care about clothes and shoes.

Just trying to see if I'm missing something obvious.

IMO the standard would be better.

I think the VC will cost the same. So you will get around 100k vc for $30. Or you could just spend the extra $20 and go for the $50 200k vc to max your MyPlayer to 85 day 1. Which is double the VC you would get for the $100 version.

That is if you wanted to buy VC at all. You can also just wait for a VC sale.

If you're a MyPlayer kinda guy/girl, standard edition and buy VC separately.

I seen from one of the youtubers it was 184k vc to get to an 85 this yr.

I'll get standard, I'm not pre-ordering.

The demo has been a little merrr, everything feels rather slow, jump shot, player movement. Just feels clunky.
It is only the demo..

I do like we can get some badged to apply to start with, good idea, grinding those badges to gold & hof became boring as bat**** in 19.
Hopefully as we progress we get more badges to add along the way.

That number can change depending on how you allocate your attributes. I imagine it could be lower if you build your character more evenly than if you max your primary attributes

2k hasn't been very clear on how badges activation works.

I believe that you still have to make some kind of grind to unlock the badges points for getting the badges.

If you're a MyTeam guy and/or a D. Wade and Heat fan the Legend Edition is probably worth it.

I was going to get the Standard + 50 dollars of VC but I'm a MyTeam and MyPlayer player so I think the Legend Edition with 20 dollars worth of VC is better value. That's 175,000 VC, 50,000 MT with some extra bonuses. Worth it for me imo.
