Is the playcalling broken ?

I used to be able to click L1 or LB on the controller,. Choose a player and pick a play for them. Am I missing something?

Re: Is the playcalling broken ?

Click L1 then R1 and then you can pick plays for individual players.

Definitely not broken. I did it all game last night in MyLeague.

Ya, new step. Used to be one button press but now it's two for some reason. Annoying, but I got used to it in about 3 possessions.

I'm trying to guess what 2k is thinking adding extra step ? Not to mention we still can't see fatigue levels on the court...oh well

I think there's extra access to quick plays iirc. If adding one extra button enables more options then it's probably worth doing. It doesn't take long to get used to.

And you can see fatigue levels when you press down on the D-Pad to access substitutions. Unless you mean something else?

Re: Is the playcalling broken ?

I organize my playbook and call a specific play almost every possession. I'm not a fan of the extra button click. I can get used to it, but would like option to turn it off.

In game you can't see stamina ? Only on time outs?
