NBA wants update players height

because they want one standardized measurement for all players so they are comparable. before, some. Were measure with Shoes, some without Shoes. some gain more height with their Shoes than others. when measuring everyone barefoot noone has an advantage due to shoe choice.

Of course they are barefoot. thats what this whole Thread is about. and you can use them for your roster, as Long as you are consistent with it. before the New heighrs, some players were measured with Shoes, some without and some werent measured for a few years. now with the New "System" you have up to date values for All players measured the same way, which make them comparable to each other.



pau Gasol being 7-1 and his bother Marc being only 6-11 is really crazy, as everyone thought Marc was the taller one for years.

I just went thru updating all heights to match NBA.com and it was a very interesting exercise. Generally it closed the gap between supposedly short players and medium height players, while widening the gap between the tall players and medium height players. Very interested in seeing if this has any impact on gameplay.
