Why do we always bobble or put in an awkward animation when there is little time left

I play a lot of rec and notice when I receive a pass when there is little time left on the shot clock most of the time I bobble the pass or 2k gives me a forced animation to slow me down from putting up the shot. It's annoying.

especially when you have a big man, especially if there is a defender next to you. they cause a lot of these silly fake unrealistic animations.

I cant complain because the buzzbeater sliders are high this year. And that has an automatic animation.

This. I had 1.7 seconds to shoot at the end of the game and I just chucked up a prayer with Bogdanavic with Gold quick draw and lost the game.
