NBA2K20- I cannot call plays in my GM

Hello,

Can someone please help a newbie. In play now and in every year before I could bring up offense and defensive plays using the directional buttons. Now in myGM it will not let me. Please can anyone tell me where the option to fix that is????

MyGm is different this year. I used to play it all the time except this year. If i’m not mistaken you have to accumulate action points and be able to unlock the ability to call plays

You have to get your coach’s morale to mid 90s

If you go into the “staff” tile and click on the head coach there is an option to chit chat. I did that every day till I got my coaches morale up to where it needs to be. Once you get him there you should chit chat him once a week or a little less. If he dips below the requirement you lose the ability to call plays again.

wow. poorly executed. a better option would be to have play calling tied to your players moral/attitude/iq. on top of that they could have tied it into said position of player.
your pg- would have access to all the teams plays in the play books
your center- would have less access, to the number of plays.

so basically if you wanted to run plays and only your center had high moral, you would have to have control of he center in order to access a limited playbook. youd basically have to run your offense through your center.

I think the fact that the game has been out like 3 months and basically no one knows about this confirms you are correct about poor implementation. Lol

I hated the new MyGM at first but luckily I play on PC and have the ability to edit more things so I’ve stuck with it. I thought I’d play more MyLeague this year because of the changes but I like balancing the limited action points with what I have to do. It’s so ridiculously unrealistic that I thought I’d hate it but it’s been quite fun actually. Again though PC makes the difference. If I couldn’t edit players I’d never touch the mode.
