Does everyone play 12 min quarters? I enjoy how it brings realistic stats but the games are so long. Wondering if anyone plays on lower minutes and enjoys it

I still play on 12. Always have. Once you become a starter you can sim out after the half if you're up 25.

My suggestion: if you're a guard go to the Lakers. We typically blow teams out every half.

I play on 12 min quarters, I enjoy the realistic aspect of it. But what kills me is still the bad A.I trade logic that plagues the mode.

I certainly don’t play 12 minute quarters, not now, not ever.

I see MyCareer as a “for fun” mode, a chance for me to test every move that may get used in a game against real players and not CPUs. Stat wise, I opt for 5 minutes and generally take whatever I get as fair game. Recently, I’ve upped it to 6 minutes. I suggest whatever setting provides you the best experience, that way you’re not burnt out on longer duration games.
