the best NBA 2k of the decade vote plus top sports game of the decade, has me revisiting all the NBA 2k games.

Every NBA 2k game from 11 on have been solid and unique in its own right. all are on my PC. all are good. some of the NBA 2k's took me an entire yearly cycle or two to appreciate them. for instance, I was not a fan of 2k18 , but now I find it to be actually a good title.

NBA2k despite all the complaints by folks, just knows how to do basketball.

No-brainer here. This game was just special. Going to dust off the 360 and jump back on one of these days.

had so many great things. the gameplay, also competitively in online League, felt great. and does anyone Still remember the community Homepage where you could See live Tickers of League games?

I kept my 360 for this reason. And I do think nba 2k12 is a worthy successor in it's own right and I still like that just as much too.

I remember going to pick up 2k11 at the mall. It was late & the guy at the counter was clearly ready to go home. Just scowled at everyone. I hand him the game and he asks “you buying this for yourself or someone else?” I said it was for me & I saw it had old teams on it. His face brightens up and he goes “Man the minute I go get home I’m playing with the Bad Boys!” He looked absolutely thrilled.

2k11 may not have played the best but it definitely rejuvenated my interest in video game basketball games.

I just busted this game out for a couple of hours. I would sincerely argue this game plays smarter than the current NBA 2K games. No glaring AI issues, adaptive AI, awesome presentation, Amazing off-line mode’s to play and a killer soundtrack. What really is there not to like? It’s still the foundation game for this amazing sports franchise !

I'm pretty sure either the hop step or the spin move into dunk were OP as all get out this year. But I mean, I still generally agree with the premise here. I don't know if it plays smarter or not, but I still think it's a very playable game.
