Zion is an 86. That’s up 6 on this year.
I have no quarrels, certainly the new “guy.” I hope he gets into the playoffs and demolishes an old Lebron and traded AD.

You cannot even argue with overvaluing stats when looking at bamba or porter jr. Porter Jr is averaging 8 pts, 3 reb and 4 ast. In what world does that result in an 81 ovr player?!

As someone who takes a lot of pride in my work, I have to say I think this roster is absolutely awful. First of all, players seem to have way lower standards than a few years ago, and also they value one or two games way too much. Shake Milton is a good player but isn't it a bit premature to have him at 77?

Also...
DiVincenzo 80?
Bjelica 80?
Gibson 78?
I mean come on, these are just way too generous.
If we are valuing the average starter as 80 OVR then those ratings are fine.

It is baffling that people here still use such archaic terms (per game stats??????) to evaluate players.
In layman's terms: He scores like a guard (50-43-77 shooting) and rebounds like a center (VASTLY better than modern PFs)
The only reason MPJ plays 14 MPG (i.e. why his averages are low) is he plays for a stacked contender. Any other team he'd be playing double the minutes.
I know people LOVE to pile on 2K but it's better to properly inform yourself first before emotionally lashing out (Player X isn't good, what are they doing!?).

The problem is, that the game itself does not value average starters as 80 ovr players. Go and play myleague. 80 OVR players still want to receive star player money, because some years ago, a 80+ player was an allstar caliber player.
