Surprised that they aren't doing the Smart Delivery/Cross Buy and making it $10 more on next gen.

So unless you buy Legend Edition, you're going to have to buy twice if you planned on buying it for current gen

Not really surprised with the $10 increase in standard next gen version. The 59.99 tag wasn't going to last forever. They are just the first company to come out and announce it at the point. I can see other companies following suit. It just sucks for those who planned on taking advantage of Smart Delivery. A lot of people don't buy the legend edition. They are basically saying buy the more expensive edition or buy the standard edition twice. For me, it doesn't matter since I planned on waiting until next gen to buy anyway. But I was looking forward to taking advantage of Cross Buy and a Black Friday deal. I was hoping I can take advantage of buying 2k21 for $29-32 on black Friday and just upgrading for free. Still can take advantage of Black Friday deal if the current Gen Legend edition gets a deal.

The whole thing is kinda BS but I could look past it if our progress carried over. It looks like only the MyTeam progress does though in which case there’s no real point in playing the current gen version just to start over in a couple months.

I'm certain gameplay gonna be identical between older and next gen. A bit of a bummer to not get full graphics for PC version which could obviously run it, but 2K neglect PC version badly for years and it ain't gonna change it seems.

Already copped the PS5 version so I probably won’t touch the PS4 version just like I did for 2K14 when it dropped. Granted I do think I missed the most polished version of last gens 2K by not playing PS3 2K14.

Also I hope there is a massive upgrade in the way Kobe looks on the PS5 edition of the game. I hope they get Razor (spelling that wrong) to edit his face. No reason Kobe should look better on 2K10 than he does 10 years later especially if you’re going to give him 2 legend editions. Honor him right.

Isn't that kind've a waste? I mean you might as well get it since you're getting it for free essentially.
