Re: Camera Relative Dribbling
Re: Camera Relative Dribbling
I used to play on broadcast with camera relative controller settings but you cant always get the dribble moves you want. I had to switch to 2K cam and get used to using absolute in order to do more dribble moves.

Lol...sometimes you better read correctly, right?
Well, I have always used camera relative, since I play 2k (so since 2k9). Thats a too long time to change my behavior.Comment

Same here.
Tbh i barely use dribbeling moves.
Usually protect the ball and move in the opposite direction is enough to get by most players lol

Re: Camera Relative Dribbling
I've tried so many times to switch to absolute, but my brain has been wired for camera relative controls all the way back to College Hoops 2K7. I feel like it would take weeks, if not months, of messing up dribble moves/layups before I started really getting it down.Comment

Its worth it though.
Had the same issue but made the change last 2K and never looked back.
You have so much more control of what animation you will get with dribbeling, post moves and finishing.
Like having slithery finisher and going for the safe 2 handed dunk makes it hard as hell to get blocked.
Chances are you get the foul rather then getting blocked lol.
Worked great with post shots as well!!!

Re: Camera Relative Dribbling
i use camera relative and it is annoying just because everytime you close 2K to play another game, you've got to reset the controls each time because it automatically reverts to absolute. it is easier for me to use size up dribbles and different layup gathers playing on camera relative, it is almost surprising how little people use most of the dribble/post/inside scoring movesComment

Re: Camera Relative Dribbling
I play broadcast and I would like to do camera relative dribbles but the issue is that I also use shot stick. When you're at the top base line using broadcast camera you end up going for a bank shot. Its annoying af. It was never like this in early version of 2k.
