What changes are you hoping for on the New Gen consoles?

Doesn't matter what mode.

One change I'm hoping for is, more of a realistic atmosphere from the crowd & teammates. Especially during highlight plays and crunch time.

A major presentation overhaul, hopefully they get on board with TNT for that. 2k used to have ESPN stuff. They already have the pre-game show anyway.

Major lighting improvements due to new hardware. 2k14 still looks incredible because of it.

2k has pretty good animations as it is, but I'm also expecting a big jump in regards to that. Also less ball warping.

Without a doubt better Foot Planting!

No more players sliding into position to receive passes without moving their feet.

No more gliding back & forth while in a stand still position.

I really hope foot planting was overhauled for Next Gen. It's the biggest issue I've had with 2K this entire gen.

Nice post. I agree. The two areas I want to see improved the most are player movement and crowd atmosphere.

I have a feeling 2k is going all-in with their next-gen release. With other sports game’s staying rather stagnant (existing engines), 2k has an opportunity to separate themselves in a huge way.

As a 90% sim player I think they should be able to get more in depth in the MyLeague.

They can have the tendencies for players better instead of having a ton of players have a 70 or more in the shooting area they like. Most stars don't just shoot from one spot but a player like PJ Tucker loves the corners.


Don't just have all the coaches in the balanced or some crash some don't category. Like actually look at their tendency and style of coaching. Add more options for that too like do they pull guys in foul trouble or let play.



Better timeout AI and subbing since most teams don't just sub 4 or 5 guys all at once.



As for in game I am not sure they can do so much, feel like it will always come down to player to mess with sliders.

the ability to Change matchups in the Pause Menu during the game without it resulting in a disconnect. oh wait, this has nothing to do with a console gen, still this Bug is in the game since the switch from old gen to current gen.
