FG% going crazy in some quarter

Anybody else experiencing this? I'm almost dropping the game for the 3rd year straight. Like I said in another post, in every match I play, there's a specific quarter in which me or the CPU shoots 70~80% FG. EVERY SINGLE GAME.

I tried AS, SS and HOF. Tried to lower offensive consistency, offensive awareness but nothing changes. The matches are always too easy or too hard because of this. Don't know what else I can do. If anyone has a suggestion about something that can fix this, I would be very grateful.

Not just you, and it’s absolutely infuriating consider how perfect a user has to be to hit just an open jump shot.

Just last night I played a game against the CPU where it was tightly contested and we ranged from 47-53% shooting through 3 Quarters of ball... Then we hit the 4th Quarter and the CPU shot 100% and ended up beating us by 11. They shot 3/3 from Three, 6/6 from the field and all 4 FT’s. It was insane.

Between the weird shooting, horrible percentages, and these volley ball / horribly animated blocks, I don’t know if I can take playing 2K this year.

I'm not seeing this on All-Star that much at all. The AI can get hot and gain momentum, but that is because I'm making mistakes myself and getting too comfortable. Otherwise I'm able to predict what they're doing because the AI offense usually revolves around off-ball screens for shooters and pick n roll.

I have little experience on Superstar or HOF, because I strongly dislike the added cheese and IMO the higher the difficulty, the less realistic it is by default because it's designed to provide an artificially tough challenge.

The problem is that the FG goes up for the user too sometimes. The very first game I played on 2K21 was on All-Star, and I was REALLY liking the game. Very competitive. But then the 3rd quarter came and I started to destroy the CPU. I was controlling the 76ers and everytime I drove to the basket with Ben Simmons, I was able to dunk. By the end of that quarter my FG was almost 100%...
