Real G League Players in Next Gen NBA 2K21?

I am hoping with the addition of a Playble GLeague we get Real GLeague Rosters. Anyone heard any news on this?

Would be great at the very least if the two way contract guys were connected to their proper teams in the G League.

I would have to think that there is no division of rosters between the major league and G League, given how intertwined they are now in real life.

The Gleague players unionized earlier this year and have a players association now so I guess its possible. More than likely though it'll probably just be the 2way players already included in 2K and the rest fictional players. If possible, I'll put every young FA in the game into the Gleague instead of having them rot in the FA pool.

If they did unionize then im willing to bet they’ll be in the game. If they just generated random players onto the rosters that’s just asking to be a basketball version of an O’Bannon lawsuit.

I'd agree on the first part, that it's more likely than not that we get the real players. But if they randomly generate them, there's not going to be any lawsuit, it'd be more like a random draft class than "mostly real" placeholders with fake names.
