because virtual worlds drive sales of virtual currencies. It's just that simple. That was the end game we didn't see when park came out. How short sighted of us.

I mean, who are you gonna show your shirtless body to? 5 other dudes? Nah you wanna walk around and show everyone, show em your little icon for being a legend, spam your legend emotes. Show your rating.

I think that garage hoop thing might end up helping this, even tho it's the opposite of what you want. I also really don't know why 2k allows you to see build/stats/record... that's nobody's biz and if you are good or if you are trash you will build your rep BY PEOPLE KNOWING YOUR NAME. Height, weight, and position should be all they show and yknow it's not like they don't have extra swaggy items you can buy... or can add more, to show your guy 'made it.' Like watches or mascot suits, whatever, certain shoes.

The fact that people mill around the park (they didn't used to when it dropped) is always enraging to me. PLAY THE GAME. Plus people quitting out might be an issue w/ random matches. I feel like the got next thing could still work if they changed it around a little.

But it'd be cool to have a building where you'd go in and it'd just queue you up for some totally random stuff. Some of us just wanna ball. That's what I'd tell people about L*ve... people were like GAM SUX, but I was like yea well I can get like 2-3x as many games easy.

Not holding my breath on them changing the Park infrastructure.

I'm hoping the Gatorade Center "rental" is a version of matchmaking though.

If not I'll be in Pro Am/Rec the majority of the time again

I agree. I have hated the "Got Next" concept, since Day 1, and it's the main reason why I don't play park. More than likely, I'll probably be playing mostly REC and maybe PNO if anything has changed with the mode.

I think playing with randoms would kill the mode. I can see quitting left and right. With The Who next I can see how good someone is before I decide to play. But with all that said they could have courts dedicated to matchmaking
