I think the point is that it’s a subtle nod to them, not that they are literal face scans / likenesses. Though I dont know the next gen audiece models so maybe this is just a coincidence? Or is it clearly not a coincidence in-game (ie they stand out)?

This was the point , I’m pretty sure Kobe’s last laker game , perhaps it was actually the Nets vs Hawks game , but he was wearing a beanie just like that .

I’m going to have to go coincidence here, and not even a very strong one. It’s just a guy and a kid in the crowd. The same kid model is sitting right behind them, and for having an actual version of Kobe in the game, why would they choose a model that looks like a JB Smoove and Chris Paul love child, dressed like a parking lot attendant to represent him? That’s just wanting something to be that isn’t, not a damn Easter Egg.

Just a toss up , also why would they put a deceased man in the crowd of a game that’s taking place in 2020-21 season and ahead? That’d just be disrespectful.
