Evidence why next gen pick and roll and help defense needs lots of work still

Try the settings I just posted. The big is dropping the majority of the time and giving me the mid-range shot.

I would but FIFA next-gen just came out suddenly

But I do want to try and work on a pick and roll video at some point next week.

I F’n give up. I put every speed stat at 0 for me and maxed out every defensive/speed stat for the cpu. The cpu defenders just won’t help. They just stick to there man. It’s like the cpu want to help. They stare at the driver but either do nothing or respond too late. This has to be patched because I can’t play the game. I have yet to play a full game because it’s just not fun or challenging at all. The defense is some of the worst **** I ever witnessed.

2k please just program the cpu to react to a driver of the basketball. I rather the cpu ignore a shooter than letting dunks and layups at will with no resistance smh

Check out the settings in my slider thread and give them a try. They should massively improve the help defense.

eventhough its not at nextgen, seems like same "logic" prevails


Edit: P.S. Maybe the problem is with "Prerotate-Yes" being selected in Defensive settings. But, without that option, there is no drive and kick, no open threes, its even worse.

Have you tried the last resort - raising all players' HelpD IQ attribute to 99?
This helped A LOT in 2k20 for me... but raised some other issues, which may not bother you since you actually play the game. I only watch the CPU vs CPU.
