Some help with next gen defense?

Hey all,

So, my guards (I play as a big guy) seem to be having a tough time this year with D in the City. There is a TON of iso being played, and it really seems tough to stay in front of guys, even with a high perimeter D rating and HoF clamps. The attacker just seems very able to "slip" by the defender.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to ensure you stay in front of the shifty guys who just go back and forth for 20 seconds, looking to bust past you?

Thanks!

Lay off LT until you're in the paint. It causes too much pivoting and let's those ankles braces trigger.

Try using LS and RS toward the dribbler (point it up) to stay in front of them. You can also point RS left and right to cut off the baseline. Stay neutral on the Curry slides, don't chase.

Ignore the fact me & these randoms are getting the crap kicked out of us. Lol

This is 25 perimeter D (I messed up this build) on a 98 OVR.
