NBA 2K21 Roster / Ratings Update (1/21/21)

2K Sports released their 2nd Ratings update of the season. A staggering 223 players had Overall Rating changes (the majority of rotation players).

Most of the +1/-1's are simply week-to-week fluctuation and I wouldn't read much into them. Rather, the story is a number of rookies getting solid rating boosts now that we've seen a month's worth of production out of them.

LaMelo Ball and Tyrese Halliburton have established themselves as Rookie of the Year contenders, while Devin Vassell, Payton Pritchard, Tyrese Maxey, Immanual Quickley, and Xavier Tillman have carved out rotation roles for their teams.

damn no new patch to fix defense gameplay issue.. pick and roll defense is pretty awful in NBA 2k21 on PS5.. my teammate just stand and do nothing to block shot when cpu drive to make dunk or layup

Finally some deserverd movement. On the other hand, Domantas Sabonis is still "rocking" his 26 speed with ball rating, which is just absurd.

The roster updates are every two weeks on Thursday. That schedule has nothing to do with gameplay patches or anything of the like.

Good info! I'm sure that the players that received major ratings boosts also got their badges updated. Is there anyway we can see what players got their badges updated?

You still use the Pacers online? With so many key injuries, I kinda stopped using them in PNO for now. I've been using the Classic Pacers squad once I got them unlocked.
