In my 1/21 Roster Analysis video I did a breakdown on Christian Wood & DeMarcus Cousins. Cousins would start > Wood in the roster because there isn't enough separation between them. The quality & quantity of badges for both players was a contributing factor.

Note that Christian Wood is 85 (+1) in the notes of this 2/4 roster update, but in the 1/21 Roster he was an 82. Cousins is not in the 2/4 notes but is 80 OVR, down from the 82 he was in the 1/21 roster.

2K adjusted both players in 24 hours to rectify this problem (rather than waiting two weeks). It's the first evidence in quite a while that 2K has directly acted on roster feedback. They don't interact but they are definitely lurking.

In the grand scheme, I consider it a positive development. Rockets fans worldwide have a better product to play with now, and 2K is at least making an effort to improve these aspects of the game.

I was actually positively surprised this year, how well 2k reflected the shooting with their updates (most of the time), but I kind of don´t get why role players such like Tony Snell (rating 78; shooting 50% in reality), Patrick Patterson (78; 39%) or Isaac Bonga (79; 41%), who shoot a higher percentage then displayed in their current shooting ratings, get so little love from 2k.

Probably because of the small sample size, because those role players not rarely get DNPs, but still they shouldnt be "so bad" as displayed in 2k.



Russell Westbrook is btw also shooting roughly 35% for the year, which should result in a higher rating then his current 72 3pt.

It's a sample thing, players should still mostly have a blend of last season's shooting and this season.
(Westbrook shot 26% last season)

How does one get these rosters to work? I show rosters that are all over the place with innacuracies.
