Anyone who has been paying attention for the last 6 years or so should know that what you're saying here is truthful, but to hear about this mindset being actually articulated probably quite frequently is still rough.

I don't play online, I still am thinking, that if someone doesn't care about basketball then why can't you please go play some online shooter or fighting game and leave real sports games to the people who actually love them. It's delusional I know.

The revenue produced by people who only marginally care about the sport at best, has wrest control of the core gameplay development design philosophy from the folks who live and breathe basketball, it's unfortunate.

I mean, I'd consider myself to be a hard-core NBA/basketball fan, but these are video games at the end of the day, I play them for the competition and to have fun. That's not bad thing..

I met some great guys who welcomed me into the NHL community open arms without me even know knowing all the rules. I have a lot of fun playing that game with them even though I haven't watched a game of hockey in years. Now I can hold my own. So I have a bit of a different view on that.

I understand that the popularity of Park/Rec has had some negative impacts on the core game...green releases etc. but I'll die on the hill that NG 2K21 made some real strides in core gameplay. (Despite some issues)

but as far as patches go...The technical issues. Good lord. 2k has to do something about all these errors. On multiple occasions it's taken me 30 mins just to join friends. I've never had these kinds of issues with any other sports game for this long. Wondering if my game is going to eve load can't be the standard user experience.

Waiting for the day ea hires someone who’s played at the pro level to help them with their goalies. Haven’t played any nhl games for years cause of that and it makes me more appreciative of the strives 2k has made gameplay wise.

I would see players consistently talk about feeling abandoned in Myleague and I believe this patch note is the nail in that coffin. I so rarely see it in league games unless it's a)A player that can pull that shot off or b) It's a shot clock heave

Even the players who can, I mean a fade away 3pt?

This is why I'll play career sometimes but it's not to go experience those beach courts.

*I'm not saying all the beach players are like this, I've played with plenty who play effectively.
