I see so many people complaining about 2k’s defense lol. I assume most of you are still using L2 which is useless because you have less control of what your other defenders do on the pass. You cannot recover quick enough for the ball movement and shooters. If you hold the right stick in the direction your defender is going it helps your other defenders recover for the steal while you are able to stay in front of your man and deny him the the lane. You also can react quicker on blocking shots.

i usually use a combination of right Stick and intense D since years. mostly works pretty Good.

L2 seems to be more useful in head to head matchups.

Sure, I am talking about guarding the ballhandler. Why would you use defensive stance and sidesteps to move over the court away from the ball?
