NBA 2K22 Screenshot - Rui Hachimura

In Japan, players can purchase a special version of the Standard Edition that features Washington Wizards Rui Hachimura, a rising star who was the first Japanese player to be drafted in the first round in 2019 and first Japanese player to reach the NBA Playoffs.

Not sure how that compares to 2k21 Hachimura but looks pretty good. Tempted to say that the jerseys look a little bit better.

not so fast my friend, look at his arm sleeve, much brighter, the blue and red should be brighter smh it's like once the game comes on the games colors get real bland.

You might be right. I'd have to see a comparison compared to last year. I didn't use the Wizards much, if at all, in 2k21.

I also should have been more specific in that I was thinking the detail and texture of the jersey was looking good.

Edit: also, is this a new jersey? I was looking up wizards pictures and noticed the white jerseys that pop of say Wizards instead of Washington and the color combo is slightly different.

Wish they would fix the color pallette. But nice improvement20210721_204322.jpeg

Lighting in this is about 5 times better than last year. Other than that he looks pretty similar graphically.

Pretty disappointing to be honest. There’s a reason 2k didn’t release this one with the others

These press pics mean nothing. They always buff them. Then don’t look the same in game. I’d like to see 2K21 press pics for a more accurate comparison.

It scarily looks like they may have washed the reds out even more? Dear gods I hope not.

Disagree 2k21 Next Gen looks the same in game.

You mean as its press pics? The shots of 21 are from in game. The 22 shots are pre rendered press pics. Maybe they look like in game, maybe not. But 2K has a history of buffing press pics. Hachimura has sweat all over himself in the 22 pics and zero sweat in the 21 pics. Which make a difference.

I know it’ll be better, but how much in game remains to be seen.
