You CAN assign elbow bands (PS4)

Found a workaround to be able to assign the elbow bands - did it for 1993 Jordan.

Watch the video below, but instead of using a player for the headband, use a player who wears an elbow band - such as 2001 Kobe.

Re: You CAN assign elbow bands (PS4)

I was also able to assign an elbow band to Kenyon Martin while keeping his head band - by using Quentin Richardson.

Just make sure you save a DNA copy of the player you want to edit, otherwise you may lose him. Not sure how to get him back.

Now my mission is to be able to assign the high band (bicep band) which 2001 Kobe is actually supposed to wear. Do you know if there is any classic player who wears this band by default?

Didn't realize that, and couldn't find anything about it here. I wish 2K didn't make us go through all this just to achieve something as simple as that.

Yeah pretty dumb it’s not an option like it had been for the past decade. Now if only we could edit the shorts length

Is this only a problem with old gen? Next gen you can assign anything.

I bought 2K21 old gen on discount just to have it and noticed I couldn’t edit MJ’s shorts length.

I know he’s worn both, but do you guys think the smaller band on the upper forearm (that he comes with) or the larger elbow band is more accurate to life MJ?

The elbow band is definitely more accurate. But the length of the shorts kills it for me. Are you able to edit his short length on next gen?
