They might, but it might be based on the consumer market. I could be wrong, but I don't think there are a lot of TVs or monitors that can handle 120 FPS

low cost budget monitors now come with 120hz and higher capability.
I'd be satisfied if they just made the cut scenes 60fps, like the gameplay is.
Same here. I think it's embarissingly bad that replays aren't the same framerate as the gameplay.
It isn't even fixed in the next gen version, which kinda says to me that 2K21 isn't really next gen.
All sports games need to have a performance mode going forward. 60 fps needs to be the bare minimum across the board (gameplay & cut scenes). No more 30 fps cut scenes! That's so last gen!
not sure that those "next gen" consoles can handle 120 & 4K.
While halftime cutscenes are limited to 30fps since few years.
They can since they support HDMI 2.1. Its the games themselves that cant handle it @ 4K due to all of the post processing, HDR, etc. Thats why the games that are supporting 120 fps are using dynamic resolution or something lower than 4K.
Also other than gaming monitors, there are few consumer TVs that even do "true" 120hz refresh rate. Most are using interpolation to achieve 120hz

120hz but only at 1440p and 1080p. Unless the monitor has HDMI 2.1 which very few do. But I have a 32" Samsung monitor 144hz and I run 1440p 120fps. Your average person cant tell a difference from 4K and 1440p especially sitting close on a monitor.
