It’s crazy. I’ve never played park or my career or city or blacktop, etc. once. Strictly MyNBA and arena games.

I’m here hoping for quick city views during broadcasts where they cut to footage of the city you’re playing in, or a simple live ticker, and that ad reminds me where all the game’s resources are poured. Like basketball GTA.

I know i’m the minority but this mycareer feels like “The Sims” basketball version. This is another year i’ll be skipping this mode. I wish 2K went back to pure sim basketball, but i’m sure a lot of people prefer this and the arcadish moves.

All this looks promising, I hope most of it works out the box lol. I’m excited to hear an option for matchmaking is available now so you don’t have to wait for games, that’s a big plus that I think may go under the radar for the majority crowd.

I feel like they try so hard to be "super innovative" (in regards to online/MyPlayer) that they stray further and further away from the core of the game every year. And this is not me ****ting on the online crowd. I used to exclusively be a park player, but 2K's insistence on turning park into an open world, GTA style game has really turned me off from playing the mode. There's plenty of other ways to be innovative without adding all of this pointless stuff. I wish they just would've went the Live route and added real life famous parks

Saw nothing about The Rec, but loving what I see with the matchmaking options.

I know I'm asking for too much but I hope matchmaking is tiered based on Teammate Grade (or Win %)

Same. And this is coming from someone who used to only play park. This is a case of doing way too much. 2k needs to keep it simple. I still want something like make your own story type. None of the linear story that's always forced on us. Woopie another year of a nobody that makes it to the NBA and becomes the next Jordan. For once I would actually like to play as a journey man.

You end up playing in Russia or Shanghai. Build yourself up or just become a bust and disappear completely lol but of course it's all about the VC and lvl 99. It's too bad...

I'm just glad that there's a skip button...

Matchmaking finally but no squads. So literally no one will be using that... smh

They act like this is The Sims 5. I literally could not care any less about most of the mycareer fluff. Like wtf... I am all of a sudden a rapper and an NBA player. I am forced into some cringey rap side story. Smh. Let me play basketball.

Also, nothing about proam or rec? They better not mess up ProAm again.......
