Classic Teams BS - Lack of Sufficient amount of Players

I am one of the people who really love to see classic NBA teams in the game. However I can not play them as much as I want to because nearly all of them are missing at least 1 key starter and 2K only put 2 or 3 bench players so you basically have 7 players and its quite hard to get the same satisfaction of the real squad.

Why would I play 03-04 Pistons for example when I can't play with Sheed and Prince ? They are not included in the game.

Knicks 11-12 - those players are not in the game:

JR Smith - the primary shooter of the team
Lin
Chandler - the backbone of defense

So nearly for all classic teams you have 70 % of the real team.

Are you up for 2K still going with this route or should they put the full squad of the classic team or not include it at all if they miss key players?

Honest answer - if you're not already, switch to PC.

You'll get a complete legends fix with all the mods and cyberfaces.

It's whatever at this point when it comes the classic teams. Quite a few players were lost on the Classic Pacers team. At least I understand the legal reasons behind it. Although, there are enough threads showing that they can create other and more full teams with the rights of the players they do have.

I empathize with folks who wish to use classic teams online for this reason. I imagine there’s not much 2K can do on their end, for they’re not just skipping over Rasheed Wallace and Tayshaun Prince for funsies. Players must agree to terms or be a part of the Retired NBAPA.

That said, for offline players, it’s a very manageable situation, as there’s almost always completed rosters that can be downloaded with everyone included.

I mean when it comes to the 13/14 Pacers they at least could add Danny Granger who they have the right for and who was on the team.
