Nba2k22 turning off the console (Xbox series X)

My series x hasn’t turned off in me yet today or yesterday. Played only play now and messed with my league a bit. Hasn’t happened to me on f1 either but I have had many system shutdowns playing madden. On madden I get a quick flash of a green screen and then the system shuts off.

Yup. That's EXACTLY what happens to me. It was eventually patched/fixed last year. I want to say it only happens when I play something that's online. I was playing NBA 2K22 (offline per se) all day yesterday, and it only started shutting down when I began playing PNO and MyTeam Draft games.

That's true. I have just checked. I played a whole game offline and I got shut down after a couple of seconds of an online game.
I guess this discards any overheating issues at least

IIRC from last year, it is an overheating issue and the console is shutting itself off to protect itself. Why it only overheats during online sessions is beyond me.

Im having the same problem on the Series S, very annoying

This is the only game that has had this problem.

Same here.... it was happening to me from time to time in 2k21 next gen and the issue is still there in 2k22... Specially in MyNBA Online games... Hell!!!
