I Love The Post Game This Year

I've been able to channel my inner McHale/Duncan this year and I LOVE it.

Biggest things for me are the improved controls and the reduction in body blocks from the happy jumpers....now I can punish them...

It’s amazing to me how many people bite on those pump fakes lol. Hands up, people! Good video, though. Was a thing of beauty some of the moves you were pulling off

I agree with you that the post is better, but I still feel like body blocks are still insane, it is happening to me at least once a game in the rec. In the rec I have found more success not pump faking at all and just standing there waiting for my man to go up for a block then going up for a layup to reduce the risk of body blocks.

I've got Unstrippable on HOF, so I barely see them...but yeah, unfortunately body blocks do still exist...I just know what situations cause them.

Dream shake badge is huge with my play style too.

          Gotta set em up.

I always start the game going straight up...by the end leave em guessing, lol

Hands up doesn’t affect close shots per Sam Pham on YouTube. You have to jump contest for it to impact the shot.

Fades and post hops are so rewarding when they fall and once people jump you can shake them for easy layups or dunks lol.

Post has never been this fun!!!!!

Yeah, it's fun and well designed this year, but I still think 2k15 post up game was better (besides getting the ball stolen from your easily)

Strange. Hands up in the post is effective for me 🤷🏾*♂️

As a fan of the oldies, I had no idea this remix of Mr. Postman existed.

                        Who did that?

It does for me too, especially with Brick Wall, which now doubles as Moving Truck. It''s just not always the answer...especially against someone taller.

It’s likely not as effective as you think. In both PNO and Park/Rec, hands up against a post move does basically nothing. However, a well timed jump contest almost guarantees a missed shot.

My experience has been the exact opposite. I can consistently get good contests on close shots with my hands up. This against a user and the HOF cpu.

Body blocks are realistic to me. They made the ball live in the post game and that is huge. It has cut down on the constant pumpfaking under the rim, and prevented guys from using the ball to move defenders out of the way on post moves.

The post defense is superb this year. You can actually stop drop steps, and shade the post player to one side or the other. Also when they expose the ball it is live and you can knock it out. Huge improvement.
