NBA 2k23 should adapt the NBC Theme Monage

All this without saying NBC it would say NBA 2K23 on
2k Network

ABC/ESPN intro is trash for years

NBC intro and introduction to the players before Tip off with classic montage music is the G.O.A.T. Tier

NBC doesnt own this and has never owned it. They licensed it from John Tesh who performed it.

Fox is licensing it for college basketball now.

Bringing back some good memories of watching Sunday double and triple headers in the 90s no cable networks needed. Marvelous Marv Albert calling games, so many iconic matchups.

With that said 2K does the best job of the sports titles representing real life broadcast packages. I def always welcome more variety.

Wow just got goosebumps watching that. And I’m a bucks fan who hated Jordan and my team was trash but nothing compares to NBA on NBC.

When bob Costas do the intro with narration I use to get goose bumps before MJ plays it was so Lit🔥🔥🔥

Man look at how hype that simple intro was. The energy in that place and how they treated it felt like a game 7 Finals game. Insane.

Crazy the Bulls swept prime Shaq 60-22 Magic (with the league leading 3 point shooter outside) in the playoffs that year. GOAT work.

It ain’t even nostalgia, the energy of modern games just ain’t that intense or lacking that super special sense of occasion. Feels more relaxed overall now. To me that regular season energy felt more hype than any Finals game I’ve seen in recent years. And guarantee the ratings of that game was higher than any recent Finals game in years too.

Because their montage is boring garbage
NBC had it right even today just look at the Olympics on NBC
They just got that Rick James Aura that no other network got and can't explain it
