Do you guys believe 2K would add all the hardship players to the roster update and is the roster injury hardship signing an option for us in the MyNBA?

Once 2K is back from vacation after the holidays, you will likely see each player added officially into NBA 2K22.

Currently, there is no option for users to assign the "Hardship" designation. It was in a few years ago but removed as I think it caused issues because of the roster count and how the coding is read in the game.

Keep in mind also that is it not just the roster team that would be needed to add these players, they would also need the support of the ART department in helping make any of the 2K CAP Renders for players who do not have an official 2K Face Scan in the database.

Yeah I figured as such….thanks for the list. Most of these players have been CAP, it would be a matter of downloading the attributes for me. And btw, all the players on the list other than C.J. Miles and couple others should have faces on caps but the others will be the taken from somebody’s roster anyway.

It's really not possible to do so through the ingame edit player menu? I know at least in the NBA 2k roster tool for PC, you still can assign the Hardship contract status to players.

I can tell you they won't add the hardship exception. I mean if they haven't added players getting covid, I dont see them adding extra 10 day rosters spots for covid. And they way omicron is running through these teams, those hardship signing might not be a thing a month from now.

Well have a look, they did add players. Also some of the signed players have the Hardship Icon (a big "H") next to them.

looks like (at least on PS4) that you can change a players status in contract settings to either "Hardship" or "Euro-stash", but you can't add this person to a different team. You can release them to free-agency, but you can't add them back to a team as a "Hardship," status, at least in the roster creation. I

t looks like it is an option in a MyLeague, according to a new disclaimer that I hadn't seen before, you have "4 or more players injured for at least 3 games" using the Hardship Exception. And then once you go down to less than 4 players injured for at least 3 games, you have to waive one.
