Expansion Team presentation issue?

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to make sure everyone has this issue and it's not just some weird bug. In MyLeague I add a couple of the pre-built expansion teams.

Anyway I noticed that when you play games with them either at home or away, they loose a ton of presentation elements, especially pregame. The game just immediately drops you in to the jump ball.

I also wish you could edit the warm up apparel a bit, but that's more of a nitpick. Anyone else have this issue or know of a way to fix it?

edit: I'm on PS5 and this is 2K22.

Nope, it’s not a big. It’s how it’s supposed be. I don’t like it either but nothing I can do.

It’s been this way for many years and kills the immersion. There’s a few more little things missing that will eventually get on your nerves and make it very hard to do a longterm franchise with an expansion team.

Bummer as in it’s so close to being great.

Yea ever since they added expansion teams it’s been like that unfortunately. Even since last Gen.

Yep, when they first introduced the relocation feature I was so excited to move the Clippers to Baltimore (the identity fits the city well) but was upset to find out that I lost so much in the presentation. They've never corrected it.
