I've always used Player Lock (i.e., the camera view; not the setting that locks you to a particular player or position). Views like Player Lock and Drive are the most immersive IMO and make it feel like you're in the game more. Also, you don't have that sort of unrealistic bird's-eye view of the court that you have in Broadcast, so you're a little more realistically vulnerable to turnovers or not seeing an open man.
More so than that though, I just find other cams kinda static and boring after getting used to more dynamic camera views. The graphics / animations also feel more realistic with more camera movement. When the camera is relatively fixed and steady, the subtle, unrealistic jerkiness in player movements / animations is more noticeable and immersion-killing.Comment

I used to be a Broadcast guy. But in 2K22 i experimented with Nosebleeds and man… cant go back now. Way more immersive with more of the crowd showing, seeing the entire halfcourt, makes for some beautiful ball movementComment

Yeah, I don't actually use Drive, mainly because I don't like it on defense; I was just including it as belonging to the same general category of camera view as Player Lock.
To me, Player Lock view is ideal, because you get that immersive, close-to-the-action, on-the-court perspective without it feeling too disorienting, since the camera view is very consistent (i.e., always third-person behind the player you're controlling) and it's a very common camera view in video games in general, so it's no more disorienting than, say, Mario or Zelda on N64 and later.
The only time it can be an actual hindrance to gameplay (again, besides the IMO realistic limitations it places on your court vision) is when you're kicking it out to a shooter who you want to shoot immediately. The camera switches over to the newly controlled player pretty quickly, but often not quick enough for the user to get a full view of the player in time for an immediate, well-aimed / well-timed shot, if you use the shot meter, aiming, or need to see a player's jumpshot animation to time your release. This is a non-issue for me because I use Real Player %, so I'm hittin' shoot before the shooter is even fully in view, but if you use shot timing/aiming, this may sometimes be a problem.Comment
