Fatigue issue
4 games into the season in MyNBA and DeRozan and Vucevic are already fatigued. I’ve put there load management on low and scheduled days off in practice for the whole team. These two lose almost all fatigue in every game. An issue when I’m not controlling them is they are always sprinting. What do I do?Tags: None -

Re: Fatigue issue
You have to adjust the practices. I just minimize practice days and have the team take practices off entirely to keep stamina high. Fact is I don’t even think the practices do anything in this game other than fatigue players.4 games into the season in MyNBA and DeRozan and Vucevic are already fatigued. Re: Fatigue issue
You have load management reversed.
It should be set to high for guys you want to load manage. Its basically asking "how much will the load be managed for this player?"
Other than that you also need to manually monitor their minutes. Just like real NBA expect it to take some time before you get your rotations down for your team. And some times you may need to give a vet a night off during a back-to-back (side note I wish they would patch vets complaining about minutes after giving them one day off, I did you a favor Al).
How many minutes are they playing?Comment

Well that explains it all. And I got 35 for DeMar and 32 for VucComment

Re: Fatigue issue
35 is probably the max I'd play DeMar. I settled on 33 for Beal.
Bigs are a problem area for me. Seems like they drain energy far faster than perimeter players when they get touches on offense. Post up touches tire them out quick as hell (may just be Bobby Portis, but man his energy plummets if he posts up on multiple trips down the court).
I settled on a routine where I rest guys in the 1st quarter once they fall below 84%. Bring them back once they are back above 90. On average this means frontcourt guys come out around the 6-7 minute mark, perimeter guys can stay until the 4 minute mark. (using custom sliders so ymmv)
For DeMar I'd suggest following the Kobe approach. Rest him the first 4 minutes of the 4th quarter. Also try staggering DeMar and Zach. Means pulling one while he still has plenty of energy, but try to minimize the number of minutes both guys are on the bench. This way they can have plenty in the tank for the final ~6 minutes of the 4th.
Small note -- its minor in the grand scheme of things but one of the reasons bigs lose energy faster is because 2k has players do dumb celebrations after most baskets. Not a big deal for guards because they are fast enough and have a shorter distance to reach so they don't need to sprint. But frontcourt guys will do a stupid brief celebration then have to sprint to get in position on defense a lot. It irks meLast edited by ggsimmonds; 02-08-2022, 09:28 PM.Comment
