I wish they also updated badges. Westbrook is a 79 now but still has 52 badges.

they do update/add badges for some players, the issue is taking them away from players who are not performing like they did in the past

To much fatigue also do it. Another example on how the roster maker are lazy.
Badges impactes a lot, for this reasone LAL are one of the best defensive team of the league.

Anyone know if they updated the draft picks?

A couple days ago the rosters were correct, but the trade deadline picks hadn't been assigned to the right teams.

ie. Derrick White was with Boston, but pick hadn't gone to San Antonio

Prior to this update, 2K had only adjusted the badges for less than 20 players. The game dropped 5 months ago.

The communication under Stauffer is significantly worse than during the days of the 2K Insider. At least 2K made an effort back then to get feedback on their ****ty product.

Noteworthy, badges impact overall.

In myNBA when I edit prospects I do attributes and tendencies first and then add badges. Sometimes I see a 3 point swing in overall after I add in badges

Yes. Badges are more important than ratings now. The only rating adjustment they make that has any bearing on OVR is the 3pt rating. Half the attributes don't even get touched on an annual basis.

They have a team putting in effort making it look like they're doing their jobs, rather than actually doing it.

I have a full-time job and am up to 191 badge edits this season.
If we assume each player is about 10 minutes, I've put in 32 hours of badge work since the start of the season.
2K has put in 3 hours.

Yet they'll put out these wall of text lists with 100 OVR adjustments every couple weeks. It's all for show.

Ratings are bizarre for everyone outside of the top 100, per usual.

Drops in rating mainly from position change to SG.

18-7-3 on 54-47-82 since 1/28 (36 mpg)

81/PG Tyrese Maxey (+1)
19-4-5 on 51-34-85 since 1/28 (36 mpg)

77/SF Matisse Thybulle (+1)
53-37-67 shooting since 1/28 (28 mpg)

75/PG Shake Milton (-1)
Dropped in rating as he's shot only 25% since returning from injury on 2/11.... HE'S STILL INJURED IN THE ROSTER!!!!!!!! You can't write better incompetency. A prime example of how one hand doesn't know what the other is doing over at 2K.

74/SG Furkan Korkmaz (-1)
36-27-79 shooting since 1/28 (18 mpg)

74/SF Danny Green (-1)
39-38-NA shooting since 1/28 (23 mpg)

72/PF Georges Niang (-2)
Averaging 23 MPG on the season. Has played in a team high 53 games.
Yet he is the 11th highest rated player on the team.
Has played 1,223 minutes this season. This is DOUBLE the combined totals of Millsap (279), Reed (229), and Bassey (168), all of whom are higher rated than him.
This is disgraceful.
Niang drops 2 points in rating primarily because the grand spreadsheet wizards over at 2K don't know anything about the content they're managing data for.

74/C Paul Reed (+1)
He has played 3 games since returning from the G-League, shooting 41% from the field. He has scored double figures once this season.
Forget about Niang, why is he rated on par w/ Korkmaz & Green who have had 20+ MPG roles all year? They're just living in the spreadsheet and aren't able to quantify player roles.

This is just one team.
