Delete all patches for 2K22 possible!?

Hey guys I am just thinking, if 2k22 outta box was good (I rmb there was CPU’s defense), can I just delete all files, reinstall the game but have no internet connection so no patched will apply on my game? Would this work? I am on ps5 btw. Thanks!

I would like to know the answer as well. 2k22 was solid on initial release.

A few years back, the trick to this was to have a physical copy of 2K on hand. I think you delete all the saved files for the game, disconnect your game system from the Internet and then you could play a pre patch version of the game. I am not sure if this works anymore though.

Unfortunately if you have a digital version of 2K, there is no way.

I tried this a few years ago for PS4 but not sure on the PS5 with its cloud saves and what not

It wouldn’t hurt to try it. You can tell us if it works or not with the PS5 disc.

It should work. I have the digital copy. When the game first came out, I downloaded it to my Series X internal drive. I then copied it to an external hard drive so that I would always have that version of the game. Whenever there would be a patch or an update, I would let the version on my internals storage update. If the patch made the game weird for whatever reason, I would go offline and then copy the version from my external drive to my SSD and play it offline. So, I basically had two different versions of the same game. But, if you're going to do this, I would suggest:

1) Turning off Automatic Updates for games in your console settings.

2) Getting an external HDD to store the pre-patch version of the game.

One thing that is nice about Xbox is that you can backup / restore at the individual game level. Much more handy than PS where you have to do this for the whole system each time.

(If I’m wrong about the PS can somebody point me in the right direction).

tried and it works but for some reason, pnr can still be exploited by users, just that is not as bad as after all those patches, don't think the gameplay is any good tho in comparsion to past series
