NBA 2k23 Wishlist

What are things you are hoping to see in NBA 2k23?

- missing shoes updated more frequently
- shoe colorways updating to new team colors when using a created team
- ability to go back to any season in the past 10 years or so and start from that offseason or season. This would include correct rosters for the season selected and correct draft picks. (like you could go back to the 2013 offseason and have the Cavs select Giannis instead of Bennett). I realize not having past players rights in 2k would be an issue for this.

- Update the damn offline rosters with the coaches/players 2K has in myTEAM.

-Help defense similar to how this game shipped. Fix it for the online guys if thats really the reason why they broke it to begin with

-DHO's need to be improved so that they turn into screens and even fake handoffs when the hedge overplays. Switch, over the top, under, etc. settings need to work on DHO's.

-PNR defense is clearly horrible. Fix the hedging/help/tagging rollers. We also need to be able to split high hedges with a clean animation.

-We need screeners to slip of switches and overall look for backdoors more.

-Make the playcalling screen more intuitive, easier to navigate

-Up the pace of teams and have them get into their sets quicker.

-Turnovers that aren't steals

-MAKE THE FOUL SLIDERS WORK. HOW LONG HAVE THEY NOT FULLY WORKED FOR?

- New Classic teams: 2009 Magic, 2010 Lakers, 2010 Cavs, 2010 Suns, 2013 Lakers, 2014 Nets, 2018 Rockets, 2018 Celtics, 2018 Thunder, 2019 Sixers, 2020 Lakers, 2021 Nets

- Revamped classic players: work should be done to at least the top 3-4 guys on each classic team. MJ, Shaq, and Marbury are in DESPERATE need…There should also be a younger model of Steph for the ‘16 Dubs & a younger model of KD for the ‘12 Thunder

- Halftime and postgame voiceovers for legends

- RETRO FILTERS!!!

- Seperate the All-time Thunder from the All-Time Sonics. Give the Sonics their own All-time team

- New Create A Player system : The ability to create faces & tattoos via image upload (ala WWE 2k). New hairstyles w/ hair physics. New body types. The ability to adjust torsos and legs. Access to goggles, face masks, and mouth pieces.

- Revamped court and arena creation: The ability to add images to sidelines.

- Create a team use outside of MyLeague: maybe 10-15 slots for created teams (with full arena, court, and jersey customization) that we can use in Play Now

- Multiple scoreboards and presentations

- 2k14 style lighting and skin textures

- Better more realistic attire for coaches and players during pregame tunnels

Would love to have the TNT presentation package in the game, would add to the realism of the game.

Lower the effect of badge power. Seeing Giannis fly & cover the entire court like he's Ed Reed it's laughable. I can't even use my favorite team on pno because the Mavs don't have anyone with any half decent defensive badges. But when I pick a team with defensive badges everywhere like the 65 Celtics or 97 Heat, the game becomes too easy as the animations start playing for you.

EDIT: Also, let's please allow us to pass & shoot in a timely manner vs zones! The button input simply is massively delayed or won't register at all against zones online. It's an annoying legacy issue that has plagued this game for many years now.

Untether ProAm, Rec, Park, etc from MyCareer.

Two diff experiences & let the user decide whether they want to take their player online (at which point competitive balancing necessities are applied to your player)

Offline: player is clay that can be molded into anything. Literally anything (because it's a video game)

Online: Archetypes; caps; balance the competitive landscape. Even if you grind to a 99 offline, that 99 is morphed into the pseudo-99 for the archetype you choose.

Also btw, this is never going to happen 😅

At least an option to select the 2K21 shooting meters. I gave up on the 22 long ago cause I could never get the shooting down. I've been just playing offline on All-Star for years, never had any problems with the shooting.

1. Coaches don't wear costumes anymore.
2. During playoff games home supporters don't wear the same t-shirts anymore.
3. Pressing the Y button is clunky.
4. Bring back lob pass (i don't mean alley oop)
5. More random outcomes when players collide.
6. Remove some canned contested layup animations which by the way always go in.
7. When you are all over a player and he receives the pass anyway is very frustrating.

I love this game. I am sure you are going to improve 2k23 significantly.

Yeah I think I unintentionally started an argument when I brought something like that up about the players rights on another thread. My idea was similar. I started quite the feisty brawl. It was almost like the malice at the palace.

Allow to save edited Rosters from MyGM and export it so that it can be used in other saved files in MyGM or exhibition games outside MyGM.

Give us the option to choose which presentation package we want. I’ve been playing MyNBA recently and I loved the broadcast style there compared to the current one we have in MyCareer.

Also show shots of the city we’re playing in between quarters.
