included is an association save with the roster as it was for the second half of the 92-93 season. also a draft class file for the 93 draft.

its at the start of pre season and im having a freezing issue when the prompt for draft class option appears. after i choose load draft class, it successfully loads and when i hit A to continue it locks up my system. when i try to download a draft class from 2kshare it downloads then doesnt give me an option to save. instead it goes back to the draft class option screen and i cant really do anything. i can continue however if i select generate draft class.

hopefully i didnt waste my time creating this 93-94 draft class and someone can help me figure this out.

That's a bummer. I do not have access to the XBox interwebs right now so I cannot help you out in that regard. But the bright side is that there's what I'm sure is a sweet 1993 roster just released. Thanks for the hard work. I'll snag that file as soon as I can.

Does the same thing to me. I even tried uploading your 93 draft class to 2kshare just to see if I could bypas it somehow, but I get an error telling me that the "file I'm trying to upload has inappropriate language Please change and try again"

what i do to avoid autosaving is keep the save on my mem card and after loading i take the mem card out and it cant save anymore. i suppose you could also sign out of your profile after loading and i think that will work.

the name keeping the draft class from being uploaded is skeeter henry you can change it to his birth name herman and that should fix it.

as for a roster file, no. the reason i went this route and made it an association file was to have more caps via the draft. 200 caps is simply not enough to create accurate rosters and i used up all the current players with eligible names to be renamed. i originally was going to upload the roster and the 92 draft class separately and allow people to combine the two themselves but after going through the process myself i realized it was way too much work, mostly just getting all the legends without them vanishing. ultimately i had to create a new kevin mchale after spending an entire day restarting and finally getting lucky enough to only have mchale vanish. i probably should have took injuries off. glen rice is out for 4 months or something but other than that there are no major injuries.

as for a playoff version i dont think i understand what your asking.

but I'm still having the same issues I can't get this to work. I really want to use your draft class all the player caps are awesome. I guess I might have to bite the bullet and just use the create/edit draft class. It's going to take forever but it's worth it.

it's shame that you are not goint to share the 92-93 roster. It might make it easier just to start a whole new associate and it might just work. Up to you?

Thanks again, this file is awesome once you get the hang of association mode.

Every team's uniform selection has an option to use that is close enough to resembeling what they wore in 1992-93, except Cleveland. Is there any way that I can export Cleveland, create blue/orange/white uniforms, then add that team back to this association?

Any help from anyone is appreciated, thank you.

nope, no way to add a created team after the association was started already, i would have to upload the roster file and you would have to go through a bunch of stuff to get the roster where it is currently and trust me you dont want to do that. i suppose i could upload it and if you get lucky enough to not have half the legends disappear, preferably the ones that dont have retired numbers (i can explain what i did to combat the non retired number players) and are even luckier after simming a season and doing the whole draft/signings/rotations etc...to have the 93-94 draft class not freeze your system then.... well let me know if you want to give it a try. personally the cavs jerseys are close enough, they changed to black and light blue around 94 i think anyway so.

i never did adjust the coach profiles for this. i ran into the draft class freeze bs and wanted to post what i had to hopefully get to the bottom of it before wasting anymore time. i originally wanted to fire a bunch of coaches and hire them on the correct teams but the bulls didnt have enough cash to afford phil jackson so i said screw it.

i just wish things would work out the way i plan a little more often. ya know i feel blessed to live in this day and age with such great technology thats supposed to make life so much more convenient but it seems like it just complicates life and gives you more and more hassles. i got a really nasty virus on my computer and spent about a week of stressing over it until i finally gave up and reformatted and started clean. im just waiting for my next rrod on my xbox, its been what 6 months now? about time for another im guessing. lol!!!

Yes please upload the roster. I'll give it a shot. I tried exporting some teams from your 93 file but I kept getting some name glitches on some of the players chris mullin was donald mullin while tim hardway was tim harwaygatling LOL. is there way around that?

ok, ill post the roster in a bit but dont say i didnt warn you about the headache your in for. if you export teams i suggest using the last couple slots, meaning create 9 teams and using the 10th slot for the exported team. cant tell you why but that helped for me in my renaming of people but no guarantees. also you need to have a roster with the original caps on it or the faces will go default. is it just me or does the game get glitchier and glitchier every year.

ok i uploaded the roster to 2kshare, its called 92-93 incomplete.

to try and combat the vanishing legends i added a bunch of legends to existing teams in hopes that those would vanish instead. when i start association i select customize league and trade the grizz and raptors with two created teams with some legends. these legends dont disappear so you can trade them on to the correct teams if the other one vanishes but i didnt bother putting all the legends on created teams because ones with retired #s change once you trade them to the correct team. so if correct jersey #s are important you will have to restart association mode hundreds of times before getting all the legends with retired numbers to be there.

also when i customize league i swap the bobcats with the hornets to put them in the east and i swap the created sixers, nets, bullets and sonics. i also change the first round to best of 5.

once you get into association the missing legends will be replaced by a generic guy who is completely editable so you can use those to create some missing guys if you wish. but before trading these guys you will first have to edit his contract. DO NOT CHOOSE "SIGN" PLAYER the game will freeze, instead edit his salary in the edit player screen.

after simming a season and drafting every player and making a ton of trades and signing everyone i edited all the players and duplicate legends i didnt want in the league to 25 or whatever and made the two created teams crummy.

im sure theres some steps im leaving out but feel free to ask for any help you may need. im going to try and give it another shot also to see if i can get the 93 draft class to load. i may skip getting the rosters accurate till after i get a working combo and then go back and adjust the rosters accordingly.

oh yeah, another thing i had to do was edit some of the older players (33 and up or so) ages down a couple yrs to keep some of them from prematurely retiring. i had a list of who they all were before i wiped my computer clean but failed to remember to save some thing s that were important to me.
