Need help with 97-98 roster

I went ahead and uploaded the roster to let ppl test it out. I appreciate any feedback to help me tweak and adjust ratings and tendencies. I also uploaded my sliders because i've been messing around with the coach sliders, playbooks, and game sliders. Its probably best to use/check them before playing because I run 12 min quarters and I don't think everyone will lol. Also, if anyone knows a site or just happens to know for some reason what kind of offense/defense teams ran back in 97-98 that also would be great. I been using espn classic.

ps: I'm pretty much aiming to make to each team play like they did in that year (bulls and triangle off, utah with the pick and roll). mj is still unstoppable but not as athletic, kobe not as deadly but can put up 20, shaq a beast in the paint, reggie a huge threat coming off screens, things like that.

there are 150 cap slots visible but you can have 200 total by downloading 50 from 2kshare. the only way to have more than 200 is to take your roster into association mode, sim a season and add a draft class which will add 80 guys. if you dont want to do that than there is always the renaming glitch. i dont want to have to type out how to do it again but i believe i explain it all in my 91 roster thread.

just about all of them are from 2kshare but i been editing everything about as i go. i've been using basketball-reference.com to help me with everything from personal info to stats and tendencies.

thx portland i'm gonna take a look at the renaming glitch and the association. i was hoping for a way to get the last couple of guys in. it sucks to play as the wolves and they're missing 4 guys while my other teams like the lakers only miss 1

yeah man if you put it up I'll def check it out. I'm sure others will too since this page has 70 something views already. It's always nice to have more people on here creating throwback rosters.

I checked it out and I think it looks good so far man. Only thing that I noticed was that you had Steve Kerr starting at the point for Chicago. They started Ron Harper in the backcourt with Mike during the second three peat run in 96, 97, and 98. Nice to see you using some of my CAP's like Ed O'Bannon and Tracy Murray lol. You have a ways to go, but your end product should be pretty good. thanks for posting this.

Another thing you can try that portlandblazer does is to prevent teams from having black socks, give them ankle length socks and white ankle braces. Chicago should be ok, I'm pretty sure they wore black socks w/the black shoes during their 98 run. thanks again.

thx 4 checking it out. i wondered about that for the bulls but i left kerr starting because basketball-reference showed he started opening day. i think as far as having ratings set i could be finished in a week or two and then i can start tuning them. i'm making decent progress though. i've finished 4 teams since i posted this and i've been working on this roster for about a month now. Anyway thx again. let me know if u catch anything else out of order

Anyone working on a 98 pse roster? The two available are good but too many current players on the roster. If we pretend the lockout didn't happen and move players drafter in 98 into the teams it helps get rid on current players.

Also what tool are people using and where can I find it? Thanks

if u meant ps3 then idk. mines is for the 360. i have to agree with though about too many current players on past teams. seems like the only way around it is to start an association and make a draft class with the rest of the missing guys. what do u mean by tool everyone is using though?

i think he means a tool like finn's editor that keeps nfl 2k5 alive with all sorts of throwback nfl rosters on xbox. there is no tool available for 360 games.
