Thanks for the patch, I don't know why you would get banned for posting it.

Here's how to install it:

You need to put the file inside the cache folder on partition 3 of your xbox 360 hard drive. Install Xport, then you need to connect your HDD to your PC, you can use the Transfer Kit to do that if you have it, or you could also use a SATA to USB adapter. Open Xport and select your HDD, drag the NBA 2K11 Patch File to cache folder in partition 3. Close Xport, extract your HDD, disconnect it, put it back on your xbox and you should be ready to go.

Theres no way I could use a usb drive to do it? I don't have anything to hook my HD up to my cpu.

1. Download USB Xtaf Explorer and extract it

You must have your profile saved to the USB stick and it must be formatted for 360 First.

So.
1. Boot your 360 without the drive and with the USB stick in.
2. Create a profile... this will save to the USB Stick
3. Boot the game... It will create a file on the USB Stick under your profile.
4. Follow directions below.

2. Plug USB into pc and run USB Xtaf Explorer
3. Click File > Open Device
4. Double Click "0. {dir}Content"
5. This is your profile. Double Click it (You might have more than one)
6. Double click {dir}5454087A
7. Double click {dir}00000001
8. Now you'll see all different 2k11 save files (Settings, Roster, etc..)
9. Click "Inject" and browse to wherever you downloaded the rosters from this post
10. Thats it. Plug into 360 and

The guy is trying to help people and you come in and say that he'll get banned. Nobody has gotten banned for posting title updates in the past and there is no such rule that forbids posting title updates here.
Also how is it different from a roster update? it's still an official 2k sports created file/update so how come you don't get banned for that ace?

Yeah that's for rosters and stuff, I don't think you can install the patch like that.

You can patch with XTAF.. However, the patch is located in the "Cache" section of the drive.

Surprised patches are taboo if rosters are allowed. I thought patches were free and you needed gold for rosters?

If the patch was applied correctly the cleveland cavalier logo on their center court should have two swords behind the word "cleveland". There's no swords pre-patch.
