Chandler, K-Mart, and J.R. Smith aren't in the roster update but I have an idea. I'm not sure this will work or if it will cause glitches but why not export these players using the Export Team/Roster Glitch? I'm going to try this and see if I can transfer these guys over to the latest rosters. Of course they will be "created players" but at least we'll be able to use them. If it worked for the legends, I don't see why it wouldn't work for them.

That's my plan also with Brandon Roy, Shaq, and Yao and it should work unless for some "extreme reason" they remove them and replace them with a head-less player. I seriously doubt 2k will go that far to remove these guys though -

I was able to do it. I did it the reverse way though. I added the new 4 or 5 new rookies, Metta World Peace, and Eddy Curry to a team. I then exported them to a roster I've been working on. Now I have the latest 2K rosters but I also have Roy and everyone. I didn't think about Shaq and Yao. I think I'll add them too. If anyone wants to download this roster my username is RockitOldSchool on the PS3 Network.
For every roster update 2K posts I'll just keep creating teams with the new rookies and players and export them into the roster. There's a lot of missing players still.Comment

I just tried this,didnt work for me on 360
I have Valanciunas and Montiejunas with correct arms on a roster file id like to export them over to the 2kRoster once the rookies have signed...Jonas Val and Montiejunas wont be in the NBA this season...Comment

I added Shaq and Yao to the free agent list because they both played last year and Yao should still be playing if not for his injuries. I edited Shaq to make him last year's Shaq. If I don't want him in my season I can just assign him back to one of the classic teams. Some people still want to use these guys just like some people still want to use Roy.
BTW, I had hopes Yao wouldn't retire and somehow the C's could land him. Could you imagine a healthy Yao with Garnett and Pierce? Unstoppable.Last edited by RockitOldSchool; 12-13-2011, 06:04 PM.Comment

Plan on doing this myself with the 2k opening day rosters. I made a team I put on 2k share called Missing. It has J.R Smith, Wilson Chandler, Kenyon Martin, Aaron Brooks, Brandon Roy and Big Z. The vets have their real picture photo and draft #s along with audio of them. It also has some rookies that will be overseas this year with cyberfaces and no black arms. Like Jonas, Singler, and Biyombo plus a few other later second round rookies. I wanted to put Yao Ming and Shaq on there but ran out of room, I got both of them on 2k share by themselves.If flopping was rewarded in real life as it is in the NBA, I’d swerve into guard rails each time someone changed lanes in front of me. - Alan HahnComment

OK ok hold up a minute. Call me stupid if ya'll want but can someone put step by step how to do this, please? I'm completely lost here but I like the idea of bringing players into the newest rosters like Chandler for example (Nuggets say they want to sign him in March).. 1. You must have 2 rosters saved. The most recent 2k roster and the roster that the game shipped with
2. Load the the roster that the game shipped with
3. Put all the players you want to export onto 1 team.
4. Start new season mode controlling the team you plan to export.
5. Once in season mode export the team.
6. Leave season mode.
7. Load the most recent NBA 2k roster.
8. Load the exported team.
9. Assign the players on the exported team to the FA pool or a real NBA team.
10. Once you've released the player(s) you want, delete the exported team in the create team menu.
11. Save the roster.Tennessee Volunteers
