The reason for the name "TRIFECTA Project" is because we have all of the 3 things you need to make Your Association Experience the BEST it can be: Roster, Draft Classes, Sliders

    MAJOR Roster Contributors: StraightBaylien, Eaglerock562, Exogenesis33, Tbone05241997

MAJOR Thank YOU to ALL Community members who tested, provided feedback and supported throughout the Project

MAJOR THANK YOU to OS Member FEARLESS74x for the Off-line Links for Project

    KEY Points About Roster

    -
CUT OFF Player Roles in Association Mode

    -
We have to Upload 4 CAPs as PLAYER DNA onto 2k Share due to a certain glitch that makes the file Damaged if they are added to the Roster Directly. It will have no effect for anyone who DLs the CAPs and adds to the Roster. It just causes an issue making the file work on 2k Share.

CAPS on 2k Share- Gamertag: VTCRB

    Patrick Beverly- Rockets(On 2k Share) 473K yr1, 783k yr2, 913k yr3, 1.18 yr4(Team Option)

    Tim Ohlbrecht- Rockets( 0n 2k Share) 473k yr1,

    - We have gone thru EVERY Player on ALL 30 Current teams and Free Agent Pool(all with Rating over 25) and Edited ALL Attributes, Tendencies, Hot Spots, Sig Skills, Player Roles, and Contracts

-ALL Coaching Profiles have been Updated for ALL Current teams and ANY of the Classic Teams who are listed below as Playable.

-OVERALL Rating means NOTHING in this Roster. Our goal is to make Players play like their Real Life Counterparts.

    - The Rotations and Players Roles reflect EVERYONE being Healthy. Users can adjust as they see fit, if they want the Injuries Incorporated.

-Our team for the most part are Hardcore Association mode players and once you start an Association any updates means starting all over from the beginning and with the daily changes in the NBA that would mean you re-start your Association almost weekly. If you are an Association mode fan, we advise that our roster is greatly focused on that mode which is why updates will be monthly. We will also have those changes to the ratings on our association guide spreadsheets (available online) for references.

-Shoes, Accessories, we will leave to those who download the roster to do with as they so desire for themselves.

-CHANGE Jordan Crawford 2nd Position to SF. This is important to make sure Rajon Rondo gets Proper MPG in Sims.

IMPORTANT FOR CORRECT STATS FOR RAJON RONDO:
Remove every Secondary Position PG from Roster so Rondo is the only PG both in Primary and Secondary positions

    TOTAL SIM CONTROL SETTINGS:
NOTE: Things may look off at first, for example the Clippers' Shot Selection is set at "Average" instead of either "Quick Shots" or "Run N Gun", this will help with the simulated team stats, getting PPG where they should be. So far in the tests I've done, roughly 10-12 teams will average over 100 PPG, and only ONE in ALL sims has averaged over 50 RPG.

Offensive Focus plays a HUGE role in sim stats as well. For a while I was setting "Outside" along with "Quick Shots" on GSW and every time both Thompson and Curry would shoot under 40% from 3 point range. When I moved their Focus to "Balanced" and their Shot Selection to "Average", the Warriors PPG stayed about the same, but Curry shoots around 44-45% from 3, and Klay about 40-41%. This led me to begin the in-depth testing...

Anyway, on with the second half of the show! If you have any questions, shoot them my way.

      [TIPS]

-Use Defensive Strategies on every play. You will need to coach your team to success on the defensive end, so don't be afraid to set specific Defensive Settings and Strategies. Also remember, calling a few consecutive zone calls can do wonders in slowing the CPU's momentum.

-Close out on your shooters or you will pay. Try to make the shot as contested as possible for the CPU, sometimes just being there isn't enough. Get up in your man.

-Set playcalling to Manual. A combination of quick plays can really help throw off the defense and the playcalling of your coach always limits you to 5-7 plays all together. This gives you free range of plays to be called as well as creativity to make your owns plays, in a sense.

-Use timeouts when necessary. I find turning Timeouts on Manual helps hinder the CPU's momentum most of the time as I can pick and choose my spots for a breather. But sometimes teams are just hot and you have to find out how to cool them down, and just like in the NBA, sometimes it's not easy.

-Use right stick defense to stay in front of your man/contest layups and close shots. Staying in front of your man is one of the hardest things to do consistently, use the right stick D to cut off your driving ball handler, or you might give up more than your fair share of Points in the Paint and And-1's.

-Not so much of a tip, but I stick to a rule for myself to tap the release on Free Throws to best represent Real Player % from the FT Line.

-Most importantly, play to your team's strengths and ENJOY!

Well we released all 3: Roster, Draft Class, Slider Set. It's up to you whether you want to use all 3, but the best results come when doing so.

REMINDER: Just a reminder to those downloading the Roster, there are two players missing; Patrick Beverley (Rockets) and Mickael Gelablale (Timberwolves)

VT has edited players specific to this roster and put them on 2k share available for download. Search gamertag vtcrb

To my knowledge Tim Ohlbrecht will be up sooner than later.

Awesome, thank you guys! I'm going to start an association right now. Hardest part is deciding which team to be lol

                            2 Quick Questions:

                            1) Anyway to import the rotations you guys have adjusted into your association or do I have to manually do every teams in a 30-team association?

                            2) StraightBaylien says to set plays to manual in his thread. Do you still incorporate vanwolfhawk's (or however you say his name) plays into these? I prefer using those plays as I don't know much about the actual plays to do them myself

                            Again, thank you's.

I have never played that Mode, but I have heard the other versions of Rosters we have released worked well with it.
