No you are totally wrong. In 2k9, close shots success only controls jumpshots and fadeaways , any other animation (ie. layups, hookshots, up and unders ect.) are governed only by the layup success slider, dunks are goverened by the dunk sliders.
If you don't believe me try it for yourself, go to practise mode and put layup success at 0 and close shots at 100, i guarantee you WILL NOT MAKE A SINGLE LAYUP OR HOOKSHOT, but you will MAKE EVERY jumpshot 5' to 10' out. The opposite will be true if you reverse the slidersHating Collingwood and umpires since 1979Comment

True, Close Shot Success does govern jumpshots and fades. But, Close shot Tendency covers all moves around and in the paint-which is the one that needs to be lowered greatly for any sort of realistic play. This games loves the paint way too much (check the sig).No you are totally wrong. In 2k9, close shots success only controls jumpshots and fadeaways , any other animation (ie. layups, hookshots, up and unders ect.) are governed only by the layup success slider, dunks are goverened by the dunk sliders.

because i swear when i turn down close shots, i miss layup after layup (along with close jumpshots)..
but when i turn it back up, all my layups go in
it could be a coincidence?Comment
