Finally Help Defense

I think the help defense strength slider is backwards. I turned it down to 0 and players were rotating over when driving the lane. They actually drew 3 charges on me when i beat my man and the help d rotated over. Try help defense strength at 0 instead of 100 and you will see a huge difference.

Is this true?i'll try it when i get back from work.but for now it doesn't make any sense.if you are right then we have the biggest slider for cutting any cpu backdoor cheesing.human def will rotate and sometimes will leave space for mid range shots.hope this is true.

Gonna test this right now. I remember messing with this awhile back and didn't really notice much of a difference. I'll give it another look though.

Definitely broken, set it at 100 and drove to the paint, and the big guys wouldnt come over or any of the wing players. Set it at 0 and could say from like a minute of testing there were 2 or 3 defenders coming in! =) good find, dont take my word for it though, after all it was only a minute!

Anyone testing it?when i got the game immediately changed the slider to 100.then i lowered it to 75 and had better results so maybe there is something here.never thought going to 0 though.

What coach profiles are you using????Or don't your profiles affect this change???

Tried it for a few minutes and didn't see any guards leave their man (i.e. help D).

I just turboed around with LeBron...and only his man followed him.

When you get to the hoop, bigs leave their man...but that's already been in there and fine.

Guards leaving their man / collapsing...didn't see any.

It true this would help the spacing out. I would get a OPEN shot. But the post above said guards did not help D up....

The thing i've noticed when i set it to 0 is that there seems to be more mid-range shots and 3s taken due to the increased spacing. The game plays smoother on offense.

I changed it in the coaches sliders...see my post above. I.e. i put the coaches Help D at 0.

I guess he meant the game sliders...will try that now...ie the help defense strength would affect how much they play help D, i've no idea as that 'should' simply be the physicality.

Will test it now.
