    "Mid-Range" Game

I, like many others, have been striving to create more of a mid-range game using different slider sets, player tendencies, etc.

While casually looking through nba team stats today, I noticed that the point breakdown for the average team is something like this:

    100 points per game

    20 free throws made
    40 points in the paint
20 points from 3pt field goals
    20 points from mid-range

Obviously this will vary from team to team, but it's interesting to consider that mid-range points only make up about 1/5 of all points scored. Anyone else find this interesting?

cause they r missing easy shots even powerforwards n centers tryin midrange shots first they gotta hit freethrows
another reason tight dfense against scorers .. main scorers try to go paint but they scared of injuries .. so nba is the mid range basketball game but if they hit almost every shots from mid range their field goal pct gotta be 75% or 80% each game ..
if a nba team shoots %46 percent success.. they r pretty good offensively
