Think of simulation as a slider setting. When you change from default to sim all it does is change some sliders while on default all sliders are 50.

Turn you game style to simulation and then go look at the sliders. They change

all i know is when you do default they allow way to many reach in which are fouls really that be steals... simulation all day cause all those reach ins are not steals and they are called fouls what they supposed to be

HAs anyone noticed any major gameplay differences between default and sim? Or atleast which one does everyone prefer? I've been playing My Player with pro/default/12mins, and the in-paint play just seems pretty shoddy to me. Also seems like there's hardly any shooting fouls called.

But I've also heard Sim is less realistic, because FG% takes a huge dive.

I might try all-star/default soon.
