I haven't had much success running the 3 games due to turnovers and bad passes, been doing more half court.

O.k.

Well, in general, you can really only run after grabbing a defensive rebound. Once you do, you need to quickly make a long outlet pass to a SF/SG running along the sideline. Your point then will be to attack the middle by running toward the lane, but do not enter it (unless you have a clear path of course). Run along the side. One of your teammates should recognize what is happening and cut into the lane from the perimeter. You then want to try to draw the defense away from the lane by pulling the ballhandler ever so slightly from the edge of the lane toward the sideline. Then, make the pass to the SF/SG who has cut into the lane and lay it up.

I make that sound like it takes a year, but we are talking about 5-10 seconds. I hope it's clear. And maybe you already know it.

You can also attack the middle and kick to a shooter for a jumper; drive all the way to baseline & slide along it and bring it up and under the backboard; pull it back out and set up; etc.

The main concept is to get it out from your defensive rebounder quick, and run to the hoop quick.

Going into coach profile and upping fast break will help, to.

Hope that helps.

* Oh and of course this works on turnovers to.

As soon as the opponent misses a shot, I quickly pass to a good ball handler and really push the ball. I just push, push, push, and push. Sometimes the defense keeps up and sometimes the defense don't keep up.
I said the same thing but Greenie was more detailed that I was lol but Greenie is right though.

PS. Still playing the game. Tyreke got injured in the game, my starting PG, Ty Lawson is injured, and my starting F Gallinari is injured but still playing. I love this game! Now I have to see the players on the bench can come in and contribute.

NOTES: What can I say, after Lawson and Evans got injured and left the game, my offense died. Evans and Lawson are both out 2-4 weeks so it looks like I will call K. Irving and K. Singler up from the D-League. My starting forward, D. Gallinari can play but his OVR went down 15 points so he will not play at all. I came away from this game losing 3 starters and the stats proved it. I face the defending NBA Champions Miami Heat next on the schedule.

Job well done Greenie. I had a bunch of srubs playing and it showed . I am completely happy. And people that are monitoring this thread, don't be alarm by my low FG %, this is what happens when scrubs play most of the minutes lol

This game was played using the edits you told me to use.

The Game was Lakers (me) @ OKC (cpu)

Here's the stats of all the QT :

Long and F*****' exhausting game, I've took the lead only in the last minutes face to Durant & Weestbrook completely out , they've miss all their shot in the last 30 second.

Anyway, someone can tell me what he think about these stats ?

These stats are very encouraging. Thank you for running the test.

They look good to me.

It's hard to have one game stat discussions. Almost anything can happen in a game.

I would say unless you are breaking NBA single game records every game:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_records

don't worry about it.

Try to pay attention to trends over 10-82 (preferable) games.

If you look in the old Purist thread, there is a spreadsheet (Excel 2010) that will help you.

I wasn't talking to you before. You are one funny dude. I was speaking in general.

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)

Again, Again and...Again...try to play with shot timing, start to did a game last day with the post patch set and this FG% shot isn't for me even if the stats are realistic.

I remember the mistake I've did with the pre patch, I've put the Shot timing, ...and it was cool, with the post patch it was really to easy.

So I've take the offense Sliders of the pre patch and put them with all the other sliders of the post patch, Clutch Off and select shot timing.
The Stats maybe not realistic but the cpu follow, give challenge and the scores seems to be mixed.

Only two game but I think the gameplay is cool, LA-OKC was hard to win, they keep a big difference of point all the game.
I've finished another game NY@Minnesota, equal score all the game, hard, but finished to win again.

FirstHalf:
