fouls are cool yep.

Really, 2K made a great job this year,

I have the impression to play in pro with the purist pre patch slider set.
And it's cool no many thing to change.

Great game, looks similar to 2K11 but it's a brand new one. For my taste fouls are a bit low in ALL-STAR/SIM. And for the records, the COMMIT FOULS and THROW FLASHY PASSES sliders are gone! One little step towards simplicity.

Whatsup guys? Long-time no post, but new year, new 2K released so here we are again.
Just picked it up here in the Netherlands. Plan to get started this weekend. Curious how the game plays out of the box on sim and what you will come up with. Not to sure what I will do this year, way more busy than last year so maybe I will just jump in on your set greenieblue and help you out..

What are tge first impressions out of the box?

Re: The Purist(s) NBA 2K11 Sliders (Post-Patch)

I completed the training camp and played two games at ALL-STAR/SIM. I've not seen a single non-steal turnover, and with that I mean passes that go out of bounds. On the other hand I'm very happy of all the rest.

People are still complaining about passes being intercepted or silly passes. I don't see it at all, like last year, you just have to play serious basketball, that's all. We are mistaking difficulty and real basketball with a glitch. I don't agree, and I don't agree to all these "raise pass accuracy/lower hands" thing too. I'll start doing the right opposite in my next games, lowering pass accuracy to have non-steal turnovers like last year.

If I'm not wrong last year averages where 14 turnovers and 7/8 steal per game. In these forums you see people posting stats, with 7 T/O and 7 steals by the opposing team (= 0 non-steal turnovers). Gameplay wise it can be ok, but not stats wise.

Fouls don't need to be maxed out. They need a bit of tweaking to have some more.

But so far I've had a lot of fun in my games.

Oh, and defense is a whole new game! Very rewarding when you play it well. 2K stated that if you play on ball D you have much better results than letting the CPU play defense for you. That's true! Never enjoyed so much playing defense like in this game.

I started an association with the Orlando Magic mostly to test sliders. I started with ALL-Star/SIM and made a few tweaks here and here. So far the game looks very solid. I'll post stats not before having completed minimum 3 games.

Talking about association, now the "Around the league" feature at halftime works! So you see results from today's games, some of which are not finished yet. Looking good! Thanks 2K

What up, Punt!?

I'm happy, so far. I'm not sure they heard our major complaints from a year ago. But why would they listen to us if they did?

I'm kind of in the lab, but there is always a chance that I won't come out.

Cesco and Greenie,

What is up Gent's.

So tell me....is it a nice upgrade from 2K11? I am going to get the game but I am holding off for a price drop as I am still immersed in 2K11. I was looking at this for the Legends mode mainly.

Thoughts?
