what sliders give you the best defense?

what settings? pro , superstar or hall of fame gives the most realistic defense?

i'm trying to get the defense so that when i drive to the basket, not only will my defender block me or defend me, but other defenders will leave thier guy to help defend as well. I'm finding that when i drive to the basket guys on the wings will not leave thier guys to help stop me from driving. i can get to basket pretty easy that way. is this a slider issue or a skill level issue?

    thanks

superstar is not the realistic level honestly no matter how you set your sliders, and if you are going to give a lot of advantage to cpu just to balanec it out why not play at allstar which both sides play fairer~

        Can't complain with Punt's set.
My teams: Leeds United, Central Coast Mariners, Denver Broncos, Florida Gators, Florida Marlins, Miami Heat, Brisbane Broncos.
My screen-name is a combination of my favourite college football player in Tim Tebow and my favourite ever Bronco, Terrell Davis (30).

Turn up the defensive awareness and I guarantee you will not be getting easy buckets.

            Difficulty: Pro or All-Star
            Game Speed: Personal Preference
            Shot Type: Real FG%

            Driving Contact Shot Freq: 70
            Inside Contact Shot Freq: 70
Help Defense Strength: 85 (This slider affects how often and how quickly the help defense comes when ur man drives to the basket or gets open for a jumpshot)
            Steal Success: 40

            Quickness: 45
            Vertical: 40
            Strength: 50
            Hustle: 60
Hands: 50-40 (Personal Choice. Its DOES, despite what popular belief says, affect the player's abilities to tip passes. Play with it at 0 and 100 and note how many steals u come up with at the end of the game.)
Defensive Awareness: 50 (Its best to keep this at default cuz u dont want defensive scrubs playing like Artest or Battier)

            Player Tendancies
            Commit Fouls: 75
            Contest Shots: 60-65 (Personal Choice)

With these sliders, u and the CPU will be playing great defense
            Forget Kobe & LeBron!

I never understood posts like this.

He asked for help to make the game more challenging from the CPU defense. Why not give him advice on which specific sliders to change instead of advertising your whole slider set which can affect things he doesn't want to change? For example, turning up On-Ball Defense, Help Defense, and Defense Awareness will all help him find what he's looking for.

He doesn't have to change difficulties, and a hundred other sliders...people are so quick to advertise their sliders like they have unlocked secret gameplay or something. To each their own.

Just curious why is everybody so keen on real fg%? Use your shot stick to make shots, not some pre determined decision based off the computer..

Its just preference and its not pre determined. Its keeps people from Luther Head shooting the lights out like Kobe. And it also gives the game variety. A good player can have 2 good nights then have a bad game. It gives it that realism most members here crave for.
If u dont use it, then dont. Nobody wants to judge how u play.
