I don't personally alter any in-game settings...I just play. Because this is a video game, you can ALWAYS find a way to tweak things into your favor...

Lakers (me) - Spurs (CPU)

Points: 96 - 84
FG: 39/84 - 38/83
FG%: 46% - 45%
3PT: 5/15 - 6/11
3PT%: 33% - 54%
FT: 13/15 - 2/4
FT%: 86% - 50%
Assists: 15 - 26
Turnovers: 7 - 10
Team Fouls: 5 - 9
Total Rebounds: 42 - 39
Off. Rebounds: 9 - 5
Steals: 9 - 6
Blocks: 8 - 3
Points in the Paint: 40 - 42
Bench Points: 42 - 16
Second Chance Points: 7 - 7
Fast Break Points: 2 - 6

BOX SCORE (Lakers - Spurs)

1st: 16 - 23
2nd: 26 - 18
3rd: 29 - 22
4th: 25 - 21

Lamar Odom: 32 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, 14-22 FG, 1-1 3PT, 3-4 FT (dude was on fire all game long!)

Kobe Bryant: 27 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, 1 block, 11-26 FG, 0-2 3PT, 5-5 FT

Manu Ginobili: 19 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 8-21 FG, 3-7 3PT

Tony Parker: 15 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists, 3 steals, (and 5 turnovers), 7-13 FG, 1-1 3PT, 0-1 FT

Tim Duncan: 14 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 blocks, 7-16 FG, 0-1 FT

Richard Jefferson: 14 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 7-12 FG

I think I managed to dominate this one by defending their plays well and making good use of my players. Odom was on fire, Kobe was Kobe, forcing plenty of shots but drawing a lot of attention from the defense, and plenty of other players contributed when the team needed some backup.

The third quarter was very entertaining, too. It was ALL about Kobe and Ginobili, with both players dueling on both sides of the court, until Ginobili had to go rest on the bench.

I just love 2K11.

Those are good-looking stats, although surprising that SA only got to the line 4 times. That happens sometimes in the NBA though, so I wouldn't worry about it as your other game had equal FT attempts.

I love these sliders but I think I need to lower On Ball D. Was going to lower it for both sides to be fair. If I do this, are there any other sliders I should consider adjusting to compliment this?

I'm simply having to hard of a time getting anyone to go for a pump fake at all. Ever.

Would lowering defensive awareness be better suited to helping my pump fake issues?

In the 2nd half I left all defensive settings on auto and it still played out well for me (I'm NY) have to say this outcome surprised me. My first game was a hard fought win, 125-120 over the Raptors and now it was a very low scoring match. And my 3 point shooters were on fire, whenever Billups was left open he nailed it and so did Walker and Douglas. In fact all of them only missed one attempt from beyond the arc.

Bulls23... They're not up yet, but will be. The set posted on page 1 - post 1 is my "official final slider" set. I really, really like them. Based on the feedback here, I think we're pretty set.

I just played a game a bit ago using my 1985-1986 rosters. I picked two random teams... The Suns (cpu) at the Lakers (me). I won 111-82. Magic had 32 pts, 7 assts, 4 rebs. Worthy had 20 pts, 6 rebs, 4assts. The bench played most of the 4th.

I shot 52% and Phoenix was at 42%. The number were all very solid across the board. I trailed early by 8 but then Magic got it going on the "fast break" (I use that term loosely based upon 2k's idea of user fast breaks).

I know the final score is a blowout, but I wanted to see if a good team could do that against one not so good. The Lakers should have been in the Finals that year (way to go Sampson!) and Phoenix missed the playoffs altogether.

I was only disappointed that the cpu never substituted Georgi Glouchkov into the game. I worked very hard on his CAP...

What I especially like thus far is the variation in terms of results, normally beating the Celtics would be impossible or if you would win it would only be by 2 points. But as said I had a very tough time with Raptors in a shootout and a surprisingly easy win over the Celtics. Makes it less predictable and way more fun.
