mkharsh33 - NBA 2K11 - ALL STAR Sliders (12 min...real player %)

2K11 was and still is my favorite but I can't play it anymore! It plays fine up until I get called for a shooting foul. Right before the player attempts the free throw, it zooms in on the small forward forever!

Hey. Late to the party here guys. I asked one of my buddies at work if I could borrow his NBA game and he brought me NBA 2k11 on 360. I'm actually excited about this, seeing a lot of you still play this version over the newer ones. I just got the itch to play some basketball.

Anyway, I obviously had to hop on OS to look for good sliders and these seem to be much admired and still active. My question is "Can I use these on All-Star"? I know they are called ALL STAR sliders but page 1 says "Superstar" for difficulty level.

I'm not sure if I can just load the game up and play on Superstar level, since I haven't really played this game a lot.

If these are "meant for a realistic challenge for guys that are already good at this game", do you guys recommend I just play default All-Star, or another slider set, until I'm ready for this one?

Try them on all-star and see what you think. I raised the level to superstar because after playing a few hundred games, I obviously got better. Try them, but be sure to enjoy the game for your level of skill...

Do you remember if you changed anything in the sliders when you made the jump to Superstar? If so, do you have a link to the "original sliders" before going to Superstar? If you don't think it will make that big of a difference, I'll just roll with your current sliders and start on All-star level.

No, sorry - what I have on page 1 is 100% current as to what I use (added my notes today so it was exactly like I'm using). Couldn't tell you about the all-star version as I haven't used those in eons. Sorry...

mkharsh, this might've been answered previously.. but do you change your defensive settings before each game? Like the doubling, hedges, onball, offball D?

No, I just play... I tweak things IN-GAME as I see needed, but nothing pre-game.

Kind of a pain, but I think if he did a quick browse through the first half of this thread there may be a quoted post that has the All-Star settings.
